Simon is that rare artist with the ability to visualize extremely complex spaces three-dimensionally then transpose them by hand and through CAD renderings. His creative genius shows with each new project he undertakes; he has personally designed and drafted every one of the homes that bear the Hirsh name. Beyond his creative ability, Simon’s skill in building magnificent and complex homes allows him to take a comprehensive approach to each of his designs.

Bringing whistler-style Log & Timber homes to Ontario

Simon’s dedication and drive to achieve the extraordinary is part of what makes working with him such a unique experience. After finishing university, he relocated to Whistler, British Columbia, to pursue his love for snowboarding. While competing, he also worked to develop the Canadian snowboarding coaching program. Immersed in the BC culture and landscapes, Simon developed a passion for Log & Timber homes. He continuously redefines the art and science of log home design and construction, bringing products to market that distinguish Hirsh Log Homes as the renowned building company it has become.
